Alejo's Coffee Gear
Here’s a few items that I use in my daily coffee routine. Actually, it’s multiple times a day. I use this stuff multiple times each day. Happy brewing!
Baratza Encore Grinder
At the heart of my brewing gear is my grinder. The Encore is the perfect entry-level grinder for the home coffee nerd.
Cosori Kettle
Hario V60 Dripper
When I first got into specialty coffee about 8 years ago, I learned how to brew on a V60. Since then, this has been my preferred choice of brewing coffee every day.
V60 Filters (Size 02)
Don’t forget the filters! The main thing here is to make sure you purchase filters for the right brewer, then make sure they are the right size.
Hario Scale
This scale is simple yet effective. If you are just getting into coffee, make sure you get a scale that can measure in grams, and has a built in timer.
Aeropress
I love my Aeropress! It’s the perfect manual brewer for traveling but it’s fun to play with at home too!
Hario Glass Server 03
Wacaco Nanopresso
This little gadget gives you the power of espresso in the palm of your hand. This is a great travel brewer that you can take anywhere. I made espresso tonics on a camping trip with this too!
Porlex Hand Grinder
When I travel, I take this hand grinder with me if I’m brewing on an Aeropress or making espressos with the Nanopresso. It’s compact, and it doubles as an exercise tool for small arm workouts.
De'Longhi Espresso Machine
This is a super budget espresso machine for making lattes at home under $100. It gets the job done, and my wife says she likes the drinks I make – so my favorite customer is happy!
Moka Pot
A Moka Pot is another classic brewer. I honestly don’t even know what brand I have. Most come in stainless steel and are pretty durable. I take mine camping with me and brew coffee on a propane burner.
